Wild Red Mullet (UAE) 

Red mullet is classified as a species of Mullus surmuletus and is a local fish coming from Fujairah.

This red and yellow skinned fish has a delicately scented flavour and delicate flaky flesh. The white flesh of this fish is low in fat and high in protein. Many recipes use this whole, ungutted fish to be grilled or fried.
