Description

An anchovy is a small, common forage fish of the family Engraulidae. They are found in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, and in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Anchovies are usually classified as oily fish. Fresh anchovies have a rich but subtle taste and a soft texture. Anchovies are delicious grilled, they can be sprinkled with oil and herbs and broiled.

Anchovies are a rich source of protein and contain Omega-3 as well.
